Who We Are

AUTOMETED DRIVERS’ TRAINING, TESTING AND SKILLS INSTITUTE (ADTTSI) is a joint venture between Schoolnet India Limited (Schoolnet), Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) and TATA. The setting up of ADTTSI in 2014 was triggered by the increasing demand of trained manpower for the automotive sector. Large numbers of road accidents are taking place on Indian roads every year resulting in the death of more than one lakh persons. The report of year 2012 indicates that 78% of all road accidents are due to the fault of the driver.

Our model is based on addressing the needs of the industry and is, therefore, focused on making students work ready. We work extensively with various key stakeholders – government (Central and State), private companies (sponsors and employers), foundations, international bodies, trainees, with a single objective of matching youth to jobs, or self-employment opportunities.

Objective

To conduct induction training course in driving of Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV)
To conduct refresher and orientation training courses for the drivers who are in service and violate traffic regulations.
To conduct training course for the drivers who carry dangerous/hazardous goods including random periodic evaluation.
To organize road safety awareness campaigns for school children and other vulnerable groups.
Recruitment and testing of aspiring drivers for government jobs.
